Hey ya’ll! Happy Friday! Today I’d like to introduce you to Friday Finds, Faves & Fails! Each Friday I’ll be sharing the following with you –
A FIND: Friday Finds will be a product I’m trying out, a cute piece of clothing I purchased, or anything new I’ve found that I think you might be interested in. Who knows, a new find may end up being a fav!
A FAV: Friday Faves will be anything I’ve been using for a while that I absolutely love.
A FAIL: Friday Fails will be anything I’ve tried that was a big ol’ fat fail. There’s no need for you to go spend your money on something I’ve tried that didn’t work.
So, here we go, girls! My first of many Friday Finds, Faves & Fails!
And if you’d prefer to watch a video rather than read a post, you can find this episode on my YouTube channel.

Friday Find – Revlon Exfoliating Lip Balm
I read on Buzzfeed that this was one of the top-rated beauty purchases on Amazon, so I had to give it a try. The first time you use it, apply in circular motions to activate the sugar crystals.
It reminds me of Mary Kay Satin Lips but you don’t have to wipe this off, which I like better.
I would recommend only using it once or twice a week though. I used it 3 days in a row (because I like it so much) and over-exfoliated my lips which left them feeling dry.
Friday Fav – Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
This is the absolute best lip balm I have ever used! And I am NOT exaggerating, girls! As the name implies, it’s a nighttime lip balm. If I put this on right before I go to bed, I still have some of the product on my lips when I wake up.
Don’t let the price steer you away from this product. I have been using the same jar for about a year and a half and I’m just now starting to see the bottom! I’m actually really wanting to use it up so I can try a different flavor, like Gummy Bear or the Limited Edition Peach Tea!
Friday Fail – Elf Contour Palette
I’m not sure why I’m even providing a link for this product, because it was what a call “a big ol’ fat fail!” When I first started trying to contour, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a product. I wasn’t sure if I was going to commit to this contouring thing, so why spend a lot of money on a product.
Cue the nightmare music…this stuff does.not.blend. It didn’t matter which brush I used, I had this dark line of contour powder under my cheekbone. Not a good look.
Sometimes you can get away with a less expensive product and sometimes you just gotta spend a little extra money to get quality.
If you have a contour powder or creme that you’re in love with, please let me know in the comments. I still haven’t found one that I absolutely love.
So there you have it, ladies. The first every Finds, Faves, and Fails. They’ll be coming at ya every Friday.
Let me know if you have tried or use any of the products mentioned and be sure to comment about any products you’d like me to try!
Until next time…
