Friday Find – Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Sleepair Intensive Mask

face lotion
Dr. Jart+ Cicapair

I was in Sephora a while ago with my daughter Sarah, just browsing while she shopped. I really had no intentions of buying anything. Famous last words, right?

I found myself in the Dr. Jart + section, completely new to this brand. I was looking at the Focuspot Micro Tip Patches for dark spots when the salesperson came over and asked if I needed any help. I asked her if she had heard good things about these and she said she had. After asking me a few questions, she actually recommended the sleepair mask. She said I would be getting more benefits from it and would be getting more bang for my buck.

So in my basket it went.

It claims to be good for all skin types, even sensitive and oily skin.

It is marketed as a soothing, moisturizing, overnight mask to help with dryness, fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles and uneven skin tone.

It’s a clean beauty product, meaning it has no parabens, famaldihide and all those other ingredients that will kill ya. (LOL) It has a 4.6 star review on Sephora.

My Thoughts on This Week’s Find

I’ve been using this product for over 2 months now. It’s a gel so I really didn’t think it would work all that great. But I have to say I am loving it. I like a very deep moisturizer at night, and this does the trick without feeling greasy and I don’t wake up with an oily face like you can with some products.

You don’t have to apply lot of the product to get the moisturizing effect, so this 3.38 fl oz jar will last you probably at least 6 months. In my opinion, it’s a keeper.

Friday Fave – FLEKK Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette & Brush Set in FANCY

If you’ve been following my blog, you know this is one of my favorite eyeshadows. I wrote a post called, 2 Eyeshadows You Need if You Stink at Applying Eye Makeup, and this was one of the 2. Of all the eyeshadow palettes I own, this is my go to palette. Why?

It’s so easy to apply and goes on so well! Each shade as a number that corresponds to the picture above it, as you can see below. It’s kind of like paint by numbers, but for your eyes.

The eyeshadow brushes also have the same numbers on them so you know which brush to use for which color! Dare I say it’s like eyeshadow & brushes for dummies?! But seriously, I’m one of those dummies. Is anybody else confused by all the makeup brushes out there?

But in all seriousness, these are the best brushes I have used. Maybe it’s a combination of the eyeshadow and the brushes, but the shadow goes on so smooth. It’s a nice color without being over powering, which I like. I highly recommend giving it try.

Go to their website and take the quiz to find the right color palette for you! And I’m not an affiliate of FLEKK, I just love their shadow that much.

Friday Fail – Covergirl Exhibitionist Lip Gloss

Friday Finds, Faves & Fails

I was looking for a bright, fun lipgloss for summer and didn’t want to spend a lot of money, so I grabbed this pretty color for a little over $4.

While it claims to be moisturizing, I did not find that to be the case. It didn’t last very long and it feathered and bled outside my lip line. So this was a big ol’ fat fail for me.

And there you have it! Another week of Friday Finds, Faves & Fails. Have you used any of these products? And if there is something you want me to try, let me know in the comments below!

If you liked this post, be sure and check out Volume 1 and Volume 2 of Friday Finds, Faves & Fails!
